Easy Congrats banner

Hubby got a promotion the other day!  The morning he called to tell me the good news, I was volunteering at my church until later that day.  I didn't have time to create a big celebration.  But I did piece together a very simple Congrats banner.  Here's how I did it:

In a word document, I changed the format to landscape and placed two letters on the page using 2 columns.  Then I cut the paper down the middle and grouped them all together to punch holes in the top.  Lastly, I strung them up with my favorite string/twine.

I'm pretty sure that he liked it and I loved seeing him sitting in front of it while we feasted on fancy turkey burgers.  (-:

  1. Cute idea - I love twine, it makes everything cuter. I was reading some of your older posts and noticed you said one of your tricks to curb snacking is to chew gum. I also do that - and my favorite gum is also Orbit, but I like the Sweet Mint. Happy Monday to you!

  2. Love how simple but nice the banner turned out! I made one using the curlz font for fall.

Thanks Barb! I used to only chew Sweet Mint but changed over after trying what my kids picked out! (-:

  6. This is so cute!

As for the buttons, each of the blogs you linked to should have an html code under the button. Copy that and then come back to edit your post. In the actual html (not the compose section), paste your html code. I always go back to the compose section to make sure it turned out well before saving. Hope that helps!
